Within budget, we designed and implemented a comprehensive commissioning system for a multi-million dollar consignment of oil pollution response equipment for a new response base in Dubai to the clients demanding deadline and stringent record keeping requirements.

Our response experience and pollution equipment knowledge was a factor when we were chosen to complete a detailed response readiness audit at a marine terminal in Libya. Delegates from across the Russian Federation gathered at the Admiral Ushakov Maritime State Academy on the banks of Tsemess Bay within one of the busiest sea port in the Black Sea to learn more about pollution preparedness and response measures.
Blue Petrel have been putting our wealth of spill response knowledge to good use on The Burgas – Alexandroupolis Crude Oil Pipeline Project, also known as the Trans-Balkan Pipeline Project.

We have been designing tactical response options and updating the oil spill contingency plan for the Burgas Bay end of the pipeline as part of a larger Environmental Impact Assessment review.
It was minus 24 degrees Celsius and the pressure was on to complete the commissioning of a mammoth multi million pound stockpile of specialist oil spill clean-up equipment at Kangerlussuaq, Greenland ahead of ice free conditions in the harbour.
